Install the site like an app for one-click access to your saved Local Dashboard, nationwide alerts, outlooks, storm impacts, and power storm impacts. No app store is required.

MAC

Safari, Chrome, or Edge

Open fishacatlive.com/install in your preferred browser.
Select Install FishaCat Live below, or open the browser menu.
Choose Add to Dock in Safari or Install FishaCat Live in Chrome or Edge.
Open FishaCat Live from the Dock or Applications folder.

In Safari, choose File and Add to Dock. Chrome and Edge may show an install icon in the address bar.

WINDOWS

Use Chrome or Edge

Open fishacatlive.com/install in Chrome or Edge.
Select Install FishaCat Live below, or use the install icon in the address bar.
Confirm Install when the browser asks.
Pin the new FishaCat Live app wherever you want quick access.

The installed dashboard opens in its own window and can be pinned to the taskbar or Start menu.

IPHONE OR IPAD

Use Safari

Open fishacatlive.com in Safari.
Tap the Share button, which is the square with an upward arrow.
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
Keep the name FishaCat Live, then tap Add.

Apple requires Safari for the Add to Home Screen option.

ANDROID

Use Chrome

Open fishacatlive.com in Chrome.
Tap the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner.
Tap Add to Home screen or Install app.
Confirm the name and tap Add or Install.

The wording may be Install app or Add to Home screen, depending on your phone.

GOOD TO KNOW

The installed app always uses the current website.

The icon opens the latest FishaCat Live Local Dashboard in its own window. Your selected dashboard location is stored only on that device, and current weather information still requires an internet connection.
