Treat Everyone With Respect
Be respectful toward viewers, guests, moderators, and the creator. Harassment, bullying, threats, and personal attacks are not permitted.
No Hate Speech
Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other protected characteristic is prohibited.
Keep the Conversation Appropriate
Children and families may be watching. Avoid explicit sexual content, graphic violence, profanity directed at others, and inflammatory political or religious arguments. Relevant public safety information may be discussed respectfully.
Stay on Topic
Keep chat focused on the stream, current weather, preparedness, public safety, and related community information.
Do Not Spread Misinformation
Never present speculation, rumors, or personal analysis as official guidance. Do not contradict or discourage compliance with instructions from the National Weather Service, emergency management, law enforcement, or other public safety officials. Clearly identify opinions and be prepared to provide a reliable source.
Protect Personal Information
Do not share private or identifying information about yourself or another person. This includes home addresses, phone numbers, private email addresses, workplaces, schools, and real time personal locations.
No Spam or Self Promotion
Do not repeatedly post the same message, use excessive capital letters or emojis, advertise another channel or product, solicit viewers, or disrupt chat.

Only links to official government weather or public safety sources and FishaCatLive.com may be posted without moderator permission. Moderators may remove any link they cannot quickly verify.
Follow Moderator Instructions
Moderators help keep chat safe, accurate, and useful. Do not argue about moderation decisions in public chat. Use the private appeal process if you believe a decision was incorrect.

How the rules are enforced
Moderators use judgment based on the conduct, context, and safety of the community.
A moderator may provide a friendly reminder when appropriate.
Content that violates these rules may be removed.
Disruptive conduct may result in a temporary or extended timeout.
Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent removal.
Severe conduct may skip these steps. Threats, doxxing, hate speech, impersonating officials, dangerous misinformation, and predatory behavior may result in immediate removal.

Think a moderation decision was incorrect?
Do not debate the decision in public chat. Submit the details privately for review. An appeal does not guarantee that a timeout or ban will be reversed.
